Tottenham Hotspur remain open to selling Richarlison after the Brazilian pushed for an exit during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has one year remaining on his contract, although Spurs hold an option to extend his deal by another season.
Richarlison requested a move more than once during the summer, and Roberto De Zerbi has publicly acknowledged his desire to leave.
Meanwhile, Tottenham strengthened their attacking options during a £315 million summer rebuild, with several new players arriving in north London.
Richarlison subsequently fell further down the attacking order following Omar Marmoush’s arrival, with Dominic Solanke also ahead of him.
A potential return to Everton emerged before the English transfer deadline, but negotiations collapsed and Richarlison remained at Tottenham.
However, the closure of the English window has not ended his prospects of securing a move elsewhere this month.
According to TEAMtalk, Trabzonspor are pushing to sign Richarlison before the Turkish transfer window closes.
The Brazilian has verbally agreed personal terms with the Super Lig club and wants Tottenham to accept an improved offer.
Trabzonspor have already tested Spurs with proposals worth £15 million and £20 million, but Tottenham rejected both approaches.
The remaining obstacle concerns the transfer fee, with De Zerbi establishing a clear condition before sanctioning Richarlison’s departure.
The Tottenham manager wants players seeking an exit to provide the club with an acceptable financial solution.
Therefore, Spurs will approve Richarlison’s sale if Trabzonspor increase their offer to a figure the Premier League club considers acceptable.
Sources around the negotiations believe an agreement is close, with Trabzonspor attempting to complete the transfer before their deadline.
Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in 2022 and finished as the club’s leading Premier League scorer last season with 11 goals.
Nevertheless, his position has changed after repeatedly asking to leave and Tottenham adding further competition to De Zerbi’s attacking options.
Spurs also left Richarlison out of their squad for the recent 2–0 Premier League defeat against Newcastle United.
Tottenham have lost both opening league matches this season without scoring, following an earlier 3–0 defeat away against Brentford.
Despite those results, the club remain prepared to sanction Richarlison’s departure if Trabzonspor satisfy their financial demands.
Should the Turkish club meet Tottenham’s condition, Richarlison could end his four-year spell in north London before the Turkish deadline.
