Juventus want him.
The player wants to go back to Turin.
Personal terms are agreed.
And yet PSG won’t budge.
Leaving Randal Kolo Muani stuck in a transfer saga that is fast approaching its breaking point.
And into that gap, Tottenham Hotspur have appeared.
Tottenham enter Kolo Muani race as door opens for shock Premier League move
According to Tuttosport, Roberto De Zerbi would not be opposed to bringing Kolo Muani to Tottenham, with the report confirming that proposals from the Premier League have landed on the French striker’s table as his frustration with the Juventus-PSG deadlock grows.
The situation in Italy has become increasingly stuck.
Juventus have pushed their offer to €35 million as a fixed base.
With bonuses that could take the total to €37 million.
PSG have received it, considered it and done very little with it.
Their position hasn’t changed.
The Champions League holders want closer to €40 million.
And are showing no urgency to compromise.
They can afford to wait.
The problem is that Kolo Muani increasingly cannot.
He has already agreed a five-year contract with Juventus worth €5 million per season.
But PSG hold his registration, his contract and, for now, all the leverage.
With an ultimatum reportedly approaching, the French striker is beginning to look at his alternatives.
And now, according to Tuttosport, Tottenham have entered the equation.
De Zerbi’s interest makes structural sense.
His system demands a physically imposing, technically capable centre-forward who can link play and finish, exactly the profile Kolo Muani has demonstrated across his career at Frankfurt, PSG and Turin.
Whether Spurs are willing to meet PSG’s asking price remains to be seen.
But the arrival of a serious Premier League suitor adds exactly the kind of competitive pressure that PSG have been using to their advantage in these negotiations.
Turin is Kolo Muani’s preference.
But preferences have a price.
And that price may yet be paid by someone else entirely.
