Manchester United star desperate for summer exit

New signings have prevented some of United’s players from getting game time.

Transfer Update - Manchester United

Manchester United have already started planning for the next transfer window. They know that qualifying in the Champions League will provide a significant boost to their purse.

However, they also know that getting rid of the current players who are not in the plans of the club is equally important.

Last summer, they let many of their superstars go and signed some new players who are already beginning to show their class.

Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeuma have been superb for the Red Devils this season.

Also, Benjamin Sesko is beginning to show why United wanted him badly, and other Premier League giants also wanted him.

Now, these new players have prevented some of United’s players from getting game time. One prime example of that is Manuel Ugarte.

The Uruguayan was not getting game time because Ruben Amorim was using Bruno Fernandes in his position. In fact, the Portuguese manager even benched Kobbie Mainoo.

However, since Michael Carrick came in, Mainoo has started getting more game time. However, the situation of Ugarte did not improve. So, the Uruguayan could leave next summer.

Now, there is another Manchester United player desperate to leave next summer. According to The Sun, Joshua Zirkzee will be looking to leave Old Trafford next summer.

The Dutch international joined the Red Devils in 2024 from Bologna. This season, he has started just four games for United. So, he will surely miss out on the Netherlands’ World Cup team.

Serie A giants Roma and Juventus were interested in signing Zirkzee. So, next summer, the Dutchman could head back to Italy.

Zirkzee joined United to support Rasmus Hojlund, and the Dane already went back to Italy with Napoli and the Italian side could make his stay permanent.

Joshua Zirkzee has played 69 games for Manchester United and scored just nine times.
