Manchester United are already planning for the summer transfer window. The club know changes are needed in midfield.
Casemiro is set to leave at the end of the season. So, that will leave a big gap in the squad. United want to bring in fresh energy and quality. That is why midfield reinforcements are a priority.
Also, the club are pushing for Champions League qualification. That could play a big role in their transfer plans.
Michael Carrick has steadied things in recent weeks. The team are now close to securing a top-four finish.
So, there is optimism around the club again. But recruitment will be key to maintaining that progress.
United are already tracking several midfielders. They want players who can control games and add balance. A Premier League midfielder has now started to gain serious attention.
Manchester United want to sign players who have experience playing in the Premier League. The Red Devils know that playing in the Premier League is a different experience for any player.
That is why they are eyeing a move for a Newcastle United midfielder, who has proven himself in the Premier League. Also, he has delivered consistent performances this season.
Because of that, Manchester United have firmly made Sandro Tonali a target ahead of the next summer transfer window.
There is no doubt that Newcastle are under pressure, as they are in danger of missing out on European football. So, that could open the door for a move this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Bruno Fernandes is keen on this deal. He has been impressed by Tonali’s performances.
The United captain would welcome the club making an approach. That shows how highly Bruno Fernandes rates the Italian. The Newcastle star has already registered ten goal contributions this season.
So, if United manage to secure his signing, it would be a major addition to their midfield rebuild.
