Alejandro Garnacho has sparked fresh debate with his recent social media activity. The Chelsea winger has once again drawn attention to his time at Manchester United.
However, the situation quickly escalated after his latest actions online, and the Argentine could face a ban. Garnacho removed Chelsea-related content from his TikTok account.
Chelsea have already banned Enzo Fernandez for his controversial comments, Transfer News Live reported.
The Argentine also changed his Instagram profile, raising questions among fans, according to talkSPORT. Meanwhile, his frustration appears to have grown in recent weeks.
Garnacho was recently left on the bench against Manchester City. At the same time, his role at Chelsea has been inconsistent.
The 21-year-old has scored eight goals and provided four assists, but has not secured a regular starting spot under Liam Rosenior.
However, what followed next created even more noise. Garnacho reposted two TikTok videos from his Manchester United days.
The clips were captioned “viva Garnacho” and “bring back 23/24 Garna”. Those posts quickly went viral.
Meanwhile, his comments about United have added another layer to the story. Speaking recently to the Premier League productions, he admitted (via GOAL):
“Maybe yes, because I loved that club… I only have good memories of Man United.”
Alejandro Garnacho also reflected on his journey. He spoke about moving from Spain to join the academy and eventually breaking into the first team.
At the same time, he acknowledged mistakes towards the end of his time there. He said:
“I remember in the last six months I was just not playing like before… in my mind I had to play every game.”
Garnacho also added that his frustration may have led to “some bad things”. Meanwhile, his exit from Old Trafford followed a fallout with former manager Ruben Amorim.
The winger was told to find a new club. Despite that, Garnacho’s latest actions suggest his connection with United remains strong.
