Every transfer window brings its share of surprises.
But some stories still manage to catch fans completely off guard.
This one, coming out of Turkey, has done exactly that.
The summer market has only just opened, but the buzz around major moves is already loud.
Galatasaray have raised eyebrows with big-name arrivals over the past two seasons.
After signing Victor Osimhen last year on loan, they have now landed Leroy Sane on a permanent move.
These headline deals have made waves both at home and abroad.
Naturally, pressure is now mounting on their biggest rival.
Supporters want a response, and the board knows it must act fast to keep pace.
With a famous manager now at the helm, the club is exploring bold options. And they are aiming very high.
According to Foot Mercato, they have already made a formal offer to Neymar who has struggled to find his rhythm since returning to Brazil.
Six months ago, he made an emotional return to Santos.
But injuries and inconsistent form have made the comeback a frustrating one.
Despite efforts to extend his current deal, doubts remain about whether Neymar can meet the level demanded by his boyhood club.
Now, a fresh opportunity could be on the table.
One of Turkey’s most historic clubs is pushing to bring the 33-year-old back to Europe.
They are offering a contract that runs through the end of 2026.
The club is hoping to give him the stage to prepare for one last major tournament.
Neymar’s ultimate goal is to play for Brazil in the 2026 World Cup.
The club behind this bold move is Fenerbahce.
Led by Jose Mourinho, they want Neymar to become the face of their next chapter.
Talks are ongoing, and the final decision rests with the Brazilian himself.
If Neymar says yes, this could become one of the most dramatic returns in European football in recent years.
