Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa join race for Barcelona star

Barcelona have reportedly not made a final decision.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Aston Villa are all monitoring developments surrounding a Barcelona attacker as uncertainty grows over his future at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona are planning major attacking changes this summer after identifying several high-profile targets ahead of next season.

The Catalan giants remain interested in signing Marcus Rashford permanently. Also, Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez continues to be their dream signing alongside new arrival Anthony Gordon.

However, Barcelona’s aggressive transfer plans are now creating uncertainty around some current members of the squad.

One attacker, in particular, has reportedly grown frustrated after seeing his name linked with possible transfer discussions involving Alvarez.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Aston Villa are all closely monitoring Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.

The forward enjoyed one of his best seasons since arriving in Catalunya and established himself as an important option under Hansi Flick. Still, questions about his role at Barcelona continue to grow.

The report states that Torres has become frustrated after he was offered as part of Barcelona’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez.

Despite the uncertainty, Hansi Flick reportedly remains happy with the Spain international and values his versatility across the front line.

Torres registered 21 goals and three assists in all competitions last season and produced arguably his most productive campaign since joining Barcelona.

However, the situation has become more complicated because the 26-year-old now has just 12 months remaining on his current contract.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly remains a strong admirer of the attacker after previously working with him at Manchester City.

The report also states that Torres could become Arsenal’s alternative option after the club’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez suffered a setback.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa continue searching for attacking reinforcements ahead of another season involving European football. Chelsea also remain interested.

For now, Barcelona have reportedly not made a final decision regarding Ferran Torres’ future as the club continue working on multiple attacking deals this summer.
