Manchester United continue to reshape their squad after securing Champions League qualification under Michael Carrick.
The Red Devils have already agreed a £35 million deal for Atalanta midfielder Ederson. But the club remain active in the market following their failure to land Mateus Fernandes.
The search for further additions has now shifted towards the attacking department. United want greater depth ahead of a campaign that will include Champions League football.
According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United have made contact with the representatives of Ismaila Sarr over a potential move from Crystal Palace.
The report adds that the Senegal international is firmly on United’s radar after an outstanding club and international campaign.
Sarr enjoyed the best season of his career during the 2025–26 campaign. He scored 20 goals in all competitions.
He helped Crystal Palace lift the UEFA Conference League before collecting the club’s Player of the Season award after scoring nine Premier League goals.
The 27-year-old also impressed at the FIFA World Cup. Operating in a central role for Senegal, Sarr scored four goals and registered one assist as his country reached the Round of 32.
However, Senegal were knocked out of the tournament by Belgium following a 3-2 defeat on extra time.
Now, Crystal Palace remain in a strong negotiating position. Sarr still has three years left on his contract.
The Eagles would expect a fee at least three times higher than the £15 million they paid to sign him from Marseille in 2024.
