The future of Crysencio Summerville has finally been decided after weeks of intense transfer speculation following West Ham United’s relegation from the Premier League.
The Dutch winger attracted interest from several clubs after impressing for both club and country during the 2025-26 campaign.
His performances for the Netherlands at the World Cup further increased demand for his signature during the summer transfer window.
However, the race for the 24-year-old has now reached its conclusion.
According to The Athletic, Al Hilal have agreed a deal with West Ham worth approximately €80 million to sign Crysencio Summerville.
A medical has already been scheduled ahead of the proposed move to the Saudi Pro League.
Furthermore, the club have prepared a long-term contract, and Summerville will sign it after completing all formalities.
West Ham had anticipated Summerville’s departure following their relegation to the Championship.
The winger joined the club from Leeds United in 2024. He made 56 appearances during his time at the London Stadium.
Last season, he scored seven goals and provided five assists in 34 appearances across all competitions despite West Ham’s difficult campaign.
Meanwhile, Summerville also enjoyed a memorable breakthrough with the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He featured in four matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists after receiving his first major tournament call-up.
However, his campaign ended in disappointment after missing a penalty during the shootout defeat against Morocco in the Round of 32.
Roma had pushed strongly to sign Summerville and submitted a €46 million offer earlier this month.
Manchester United also made enquiries about his situation. Meanwhile, Aston Villa expressed interest in bringing him back to the Premier League.
However, Al Hilal ultimately won the race after agreeing a deal worth around €80 million with West Ham.
