Juventus remain busy in the closing stages of the transfer window after already making sweeping changes to Luciano Spalletti’s squad.
The Italian giants have strengthened several areas following significant investment throughout another ambitious summer at the Allianz Stadium.
The Old Lady secured the services of Randal Kolo Muani permanently, while Jeremie Boga and Jeff Ekhator added further options.
Juventus also reinforced defensively through Jhon Lucumi and Zeki Celik before changing their goalkeeping department considerably.
Guglielmo Vicario arrived on loan from Tottenham, with Kamil Grabara providing another new option between the posts.
Several established players have departed, including Dusan Vlahovic, Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin during the overhaul.
Juventus have nevertheless continued working on further business as the September 1 transfer deadline moves closer.
Their attention has now turned towards Manchester United, with an official proposal submitted for one of Michael Carrick’s players.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have made their first offer to Manchester United for striker Joshua Zirkzee.
The proposal involves a paid loan worth around €2.5 million alongside a €30 million option to buy.
However, Manchester United are currently demanding slightly more before agreeing to let the Netherlands international leave Old Trafford.
The Red Devils want a total package worth approximately €35 million between the initial loan payment and eventual purchase figure.
That leaves a relatively small gap between the two clubs as negotiations continue over the structure of a possible agreement.
Zirkzee’s future has already attracted attention during the final days of the window, with Fiorentina also linked with a move.
United have reduced their squad this summer after Casemiro departed and Rasmus Hojlund completed a permanent transfer to Napoli.
Carrick has simultaneously rebuilt the midfield by adding Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba for a combined £155 million.
