Arsenal are refusing to abandon their pursuit of Julian Alvarez as they explore ways to make a move to London more attractive.
The Gunners have already held discussions around a possible deal after Atletico Madrid blocked the forward’s preferred move to Barcelona.
Atletico have maintained that they will not sanction a transfer to their La Liga rivals, leaving Arsenal as a major alternative.
The situation remains complicated because Alvarez has consistently preferred Barcelona throughout the summer transfer window.
However, Arsenal are continuing to work behind the scenes in an attempt to improve their chances of convincing him.
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are preparing practical arrangements that could help Julian Alvarez move to the Emirates Stadium.
The 26-year-old would potentially be willing to relocate to London but wants members of his extended family to move with him.
That requirement creates additional issues involving visas and accommodation, which Arsenal are prepared to help organise.
The Gunners have made it clear they would facilitate those arrangements if they believe it could help secure Alvarez’s agreement.
Discussions have also included the possibility of inserting a future Barcelona clause into any contract agreed with Arsenal.
Such an arrangement could provide Alvarez with a potential route to Barcelona later in his career.
Barcelona have already agreed a deal to sign Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal but could reportedly return for Alvarez in 2027.
Alvarez remains frustrated with Atletico after making clear earlier this summer that he wanted to leave the club.
He missed three days of training last week before returning to the Atletico squad on Sunday.
Atletico want to reintegrate Alvarez if he remains beyond the deadline, but Arsenal continue monitoring the situation closely.
The Gunners are positioning themselves as the strongest alternative should Alvarez decide that leaving Atletico immediately is his priority.
