Raphinha has started the 2026/27 season in excellent form after becoming Barcelona’s first captain under Hansi Flick.
The Brazilian has scored six goals and provided one assist across his opening four LaLiga appearances.
He also scored twice against Feyenoord in the Champions League after registering 13 league goals last season.
Barcelona are already preparing contract talks as they look to extend his current agreement beyond June 2028.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Chelsea have both reshaped their squads following significant summer transfer business.
Arsenal signed Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa and Christos Tzolis while making Piero Hincapie’s move permanent.
However, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard all left during the same window.
Chelsea also made major changes under Xabi Alonso after signing Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix and Emiliano Martinez.
The Blues also sold Enzo Fernandez to Manchester City for £125 million. Both London clubs are now showing interest in one of Barcelona’s leading attackers.
According to El Nacional, Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing Raphinha and could offer him significantly improved terms.
The report claims both clubs would be prepared to double his current Barcelona salary to tempt him back to England.
Globo Esporte has also reported that Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have contacted the winger’s representative.
However, Raphinha has shown no intention of leaving Barcelona at this stage. The 29-year-old remains happy in Catalonia and wants to continue working under Flick.
Barcelona are also keen to protect his future before interested clubs make further attempts next summer.
The club plans to reward his performances with an improved salary as part of any new agreement.
Raphinha’s current deal runs until 2028, giving Barcelona time to negotiate without facing an immediate contract deadline.
Arsenal and Chelsea therefore face a difficult task despite their willingness to offer the winger a substantial financial package.
