Arsenal are having a great transfer window. They have already signed Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Also, Viktor Gyokeres will have his medical soon, and the official announcement of Noni Madueke is expected soon.

Apart from these, Arsenal have already agreed a fee with Valencia for the signing of Cristhian Mosquera.

So, it has been all positive for the Gunners this season. Mikel Arteta wants to build a squad that can win the Premier League next season.

For the last few seasons, Arsenal have been finishing second in the Premier League table. Also, Arteta wants to add more players to add depth to his squad.

In the last few seasons, Arsenal started off with flying colours. However, after Christmas, especially towards the end of the season, they suffer injury setbacks.

The lack of depth in the squad has been hurting the Gunners, and Arteta wants to address that this season.

That is why they were also targeting a forward who would join as a backup. They were looking at a player who had prior experience of playing in the Premier League.

However, Arsenal are facing a setback in their pursuit.

It is because, according to Sky Sports Italia, Arsenal target Ademola Lookman has already agreed personal terms with Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Now, the Nerazzurri have to agree on the deal with Atalanta to land the player. Inter want to sign Lookman on loan with an obligation to buy at €40 million.

However, Atalanta want to increase that fee to €50 million. That is where the deal is stuck, and the negotiations are ongoing.

Both sides are looking to find a solution, with Lookman wants to play for Inter Milan next season.

So, it looks like Arsenal will not be able to sign the former Fulham star this season.
