Arsenal have been one of the best Premier League Sides that have taken the League by storm over the past few seasons.
Since Mikel Arteta has taken charge at the Emirates Stadium, they have transformed from a team just finishing outside of the UEFA Champions League spots and mid-table to one regularly challenging for UEFA Champions League places.
The London-based side will be looking to push to win the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League this campaign.
The players they have signed so far consist of the most recent signing, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Christian Norgaard, just to name a few.
Also, they still hold most stand-out players from last season, whether it is at the back with defender Gabriel or upfront with Kai Havertz.
And that’s why we can see Arsenal’s intent during the transfer window.
Arsenal struggled with cover for the winger position last campaign, with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard being unavailable on occasions.
But it looks like Arsenal are finally going to look at making a bid for another player after Madueke to cover that position.
According to Ben Jacobs, Arsenal still have Eberechi Eze in their thinking and are now considering whether to make a bid for the winger.
Eze, the 27-year-old winger, still has his contract running at Crystal Palace until 2027, but the Englishman is keen on the move because of his contract length.
Arsenal will now think of a suitable bid to try to decrease the £68m release clause in Eze’s contract.
Jacobs says initial talks have taken place.
If Eze were to join Arsenal, he would add much-needed flair, creativity, and cover.
This will allow the likes of Saka and Trossard to rest, as it is a lengthy season, so they are available for an increased amount of time in the upcoming campaign.
This transfer also may cast doubts on the future of academy product Reiss Nelson with the amount of loans he has had throughout his career and the recent enquiry from Fulham, but he could also add further competition to the winger spots.
Arsenal fans will now be keeping an eye on proceedings to see if Arsenal’s bid is successful or unsuccessful and if the transfer proceeds further.
Arsenal still have Eberechi Eze high in their thinking, as exclusively revealed.
