Manchester United are looking to part ways with Alejandro Garnacho. After falling out with Ruben Amorim, it now looks like the Argentine’s future is away from Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old was once regarded as one of the best youngsters in world football. However, last season, Garnacho was far from fulfilling his potential, just like his team.
That is why Manchester United are looking to sell him. The Argentine is also looking for a move away from the club. Napoli were looking to sign him this summer.
However, the Red Devils are looking for £40 million, and this valuation prevented a deal from happening with Napoli.
Apart from that, Alejandro Garnacho doesn’t want to leave England. He wants to play in the Premier League as well, and his agent is looking for a club that can sign him.
Now, two clubs have shown interest in the Manchester United winger. Chelsea and Aston Villa both have Garnacho on their list of targets.
However, both are yet to make a move. Surprisingly, according to The Independent, the Argentine could help Manchester United sign a striker.
After signing Bryan Mbeumo, United want to sign a striker. They know that to get into the European sports, they need a goal scorer, as Rasmus Hojlund is yet to be a finished product.
Manchester United are looking at many strikers across Europe. They also have their eyes on Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson.
Now, with both clubs showing interest in Manchester United’s winger, the Red Devils could propose a swap deal in which Garnacho will move to the other club and United will get their striker.
Alejandro Garnacho reportedly wants a move to a club that plays in the Champions League. That could potentially rule Aston Villa out of contention.
This Alejandro Garnacho transfer saga will get interesting in the coming months as Ruben Amorim indicated that if the wantaway players don’t find a club, they will be integrated with the squad.
