Manchester City are looking for a statement signing. They have signed the likes of Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and James Trafford.

After a trophyless season last year, the Citizens are looking to make a signing that will cheer up their fan base.

Also, the performance of Manchester City was not at their level best in the Club World Cup. That is why Pep Guardiola is looking to make several changes to his squad.

Many players are expected to leave the Etihad this season, and Pep Guardiola doesn’t stand in the way of the players who want to leave his team.

However, with that said, Pep has a knack for replacing players with even better players. That is why Pep has already signed James Trafford, as he is looking for a change in between the sticks this season.

With the Trafford deal secured, one of Stefan Ortega or Ederson is expected to leave this summer.

However, Manchester City are bracing for an offer for Ederson from Galatasaray. And, if both keepers leave the club, the Citizens need to find a new keeper.

Now, Manchester City have a great chance of signing the perfect replacement for Ederson, who can become their No.1 next season.

According to Fabrice Hawkins, Manchester City are eyeing a move for the PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma if Ederson leaves the club.

Donnarumma is also a target for Manchester United, who are looking to replace Andre Onana.

Also, Chelsea are looking for a goalkeeper and so, the Blues are monitoring Donnarumma’s situation.

As per the report, the personal terms will not be an issue, and the Italian goalkeeper will be keen to join the Citizens.

The next week will be decisive for the Gianluigi Donnarumma to Manchester City deal.
