So far, Everton are having an impressive summer as they embark on a new era at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
They have made the signings of Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Adam Aznou, and Mark Travers.
Whilst they turned Carlos Alcaraz’s loan into a permanent deal, and extended the contract of Idrissa Gueye.
Elsewhere, they have been heavily linked with a move to Tyler Dibling of Southampton, but it is proving an expensive operation.
Well, it looks like they have an alternative in mind.
According to Giulia Bould (Via SaintsExtra), Everton are looking at Omari Hutchinson of Ipswich Town.
Despite relegation, the winger looked very bright at times in the English Premier League last season.
He was also a part of England U21 successful defence of their U21 title, scoring against Germany in the final.
Crucially, Hutchinson would give some serious speed and dynamism that Everton lack.
Whilst Iliman Ndiaye gives you flair, he does not have the raw speed of Hutchinson.
Nor does anyone else in their attack really.
With David Moyes track record with attackers – the likes of Jarrod Bowen – you’d fancy the 21-year old to develop well.
There is a feel good factor at Everton that has not been seen to this extent for a long, long time.
Exciting times for the Toffees.
🚨 @GiuliaBould on Tyler Dibling & Everton: “If the player indicates he really wants to go, & Southampton are willing to lower their price, Everton would come back to the table. They are now looking at Ipswich’s Omari Hutchinson.” #saintsfc @BBCMerseySport pic.twitter.com/BTfFTzV36L
