Everton inform Manchester United Jarrad Branthwaite transfer price

United previously submitted two bids for Branthwaite in 2024 and have remained in communication with his representatives.

Manchester United invested heavily during the summer as Michael Carrick reshaped several areas of his first-team squad.

Carlos Baleba, Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans arrived as part of an extensive midfield overhaul at Old Trafford.

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha also strengthened the attack, while Rasmus Hojlund completed a permanent move to Napoli.

However, United’s early Premier League results have highlighted the work still facing Carrick after the transfer window closed.

The Red Devils have collected four points from their opening four matches, with their only league victory coming against Ipswich Town.

United are already considering future additions, with their longer-term planning extending to the centre of Carrick’s defence.

According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United have made fresh contact with Jarrad Branthwaite‘s camp after maintaining their interest in the Everton defender.

United previously submitted two bids for Branthwaite in 2024 and have remained in communication with his representatives.

Everton have little desire to sell the 24-year-old after securing his future with a long-term contract until 2030.

However, the Merseyside club now value Branthwaite at around £80 million as interest continues to build around the centre-back.

United are considering their long-term options as they prepare for potential changes involving Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez from 2027.

Branthwaite has therefore remained on their radar following his return from the injury problems that previously disrupted his progress.

Manchester City are also monitoring the defender, adding further Premier League competition for his signature.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have checked on Branthwaite this season while assessing potential defensive reinforcements.

Everton’s contractual position means they face no immediate pressure to sanction a transfer despite the growing interest.

The Toffees remain determined to keep Branthwaite and are not actively seeking his departure.

United must therefore contend with Everton’s £80 million valuation if they decide to pursue another move for the defender.
