“I’m fed up” David Beckham slams Manchester United after derby defeat

Manchester United are sinking deeper into problems, and the derby defeat at the Etihad has only added more pressure.

Losing to Manchester City is never easy for the club’s supporters, but this latest result has cut especially deep.

Pep Guardiola’s side dominated the game from start to finish, with Phil Foden opening the scoring before Erling Haaland sealed the win with two more goals.

That 3-0 result leaves United with just one win in their first four league games this season.

Supporters are frustrated, pundits are critical, and questions are being asked of Ruben Amorim, who has been unable to turn results around since taking charge last year.

His record stands as the worst of any manager in the club’s history, with only 25.8% of games won. But it is not only fans or journalists speaking up this time.

A club legend has now broken his silence. David Beckham, speaking to CBS Sports Golazo, admitted he has grown tired of what he is seeing. Beckham said:

“Being an ex-player, and being a fan of the club, I would hope that they are hurting like we are as fans, and I’m sure they are because they’re professionals,”

The Manchester United legend also added:

“They’re not going out there not wanting to win the game. They’ve just come up against a team like City, at City. Whenever you lose these games, you don’t go out for a few weeks because you know you can’t walk around Manchester and bump into United fans, because it’s just not a good place to be in. It was a very hard watch yesterday, and like I said, as a United fan, I’m fed up with watching these games and seeing what we’re seeing as fans.”

That frustration is shared by many. United finished 15th last season and currently sit in 14th place with only four points.

The midfield continues to be exposed, with Amorim’s decision to use Bruno Fernandes in a deeper role drawing criticism.

Unless the Portuguese coach changes his approach, United may find themselves in the same struggles as last year.

The pressure is mounting, and Beckham’s words echo the feeling of countless United supporters who are running out of patience.
