Harry Kane will surely lead the line for England in the World Cup.

Thomas Tuchel, England manager

England have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They did that with style. The Three Lions played 8 games and won all of them.

Also, they are the only team in the qualifiers who haven’t conceded a goal. So, England fans are already dreaming of lifting the trophy on 19 July 2026.

Now, all the rumours and speculations are surrounding the possible team that Thomas Tuchel might pick for the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Harry Kane will surely lead the line for England in the tournament. But what if he gets injured? That is why Tuchel is looking for a deputy who can fill in whenever he needs.

That is why he is scanning throughout the Premier League to find the ideal man to lead the line in the absence of the Bayern Munich striker.

Now, a Premier League boss has come out and spoken clearly about one of his players who is in fantastic form and deserves a spot in the England lineup.

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler thinks that Danny Welbeck should get an England call-up because of his impressive performances this season in the Premier League. Hurzeler said (via talkSPORT):

“It is not only scoring goals. For me, it is how he works and how he is a leader on the pitch.

“I am sure if he continues doing that, he has a big chance.”

Welbeck scored seven goals so far in the Premier League. His latest goal came against Brentford during Brighton’s 2-1 victory over the Bees.

Welbeck has played 42 games for England. His last appearance came in 2018 during a friendly against Switzerland, which England won by 1-0.

Thomas Tuchel will surely be noticing his performance, and if he continues performing like this, he will surely be in contention for the trip to the World Cup.
