That lifts spirits around camp, adding fresh legs when needed.

Arsenal will face Brentford in their next Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners were not happy last weekend after dropping points against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

They are still at the top of the Premier League table. However, their lead at the top is now five points. Also, the Gunners are facing injury problems for some key players.

Mikel Arteta has offered updates on several key Arsenal players, but the manager’s wording has left supporters guessing ahead of the Brentford clash.

Arteta shared the latest on injuries to William Saliba, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Magalhaes, plus Kai Havertz during his recent press conference.

The main concern for the game against Brentford appears to be Saliba, and Trossard might not make it either. Both of them were just a few days from getting back.

As for Gabriel and Havertz, they are set to stay sidelined for several weeks. Saliba and Trossard were out against Chelsea due to last-minute knocks.

Their problems aren’t severe, yet Arteta’s “few days” remark on Saliba hints he probably won’t take chances at Brentford.

Gabriel is dealing with a thigh problem picked up while playing for his country. Meanwhile, Havertz had a minor knee surgery. Progress is going well for both players.

Still, neither is ready yet, and more days are needed before they’re back.

Arteta said updates would come once Tuesday’s last practice session wraps up. Viktor Gyökeres came back during the Chelsea match, popping off the bench late.

The same goes for Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian got minutes too, after shaking off injuries. That lifts spirits around camp, adding fresh legs when needed.

Arsenal will look to get three points against Brentford, something they have failed to do in their last two games in the Premier League.
