He was once seen as one of France’s brightest attacking hopes, a rising star who lit up the Bundesliga before making a high-profile switch to Ligue 1.
But after a frustrating season back in his homeland, the 26-year-old is ready to walk away.
That decision could now open a transfer race involving some of Europe’s biggest names. And Manchester United are right in the mix.
According to L’Équipe, the French forward is prepared to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after a disappointing spell in the capital.
Signed amid great expectations, his time at PSG has not delivered the results many had hoped for and the club themselves are now open to letting him go.
Juventus, who took the player on loan, are pushing to keep him. They have been impressed by his performances in Serie A and are keen to make the move permanent. But the Italian side are not alone.
Manchester United have been tracking the striker’s situation for several months and are expected to make a move if Juventus fail to close the deal.
With PSG looking to cash in and the player eager to start fresh, this could become one of the more intriguing storylines of the window.
While Juventus remain favourites, United’s interest is serious and should they push hard enough, they could bring the Frenchman to Old Trafford. The player in question is Randal Kolo Muani.
In the last season, he made 10 appearances for PSG and scored only 2 goals before he moved to Juventus on loan.
In Turin, he found his mojo back as he made 16 appearances for the Old Lady and scored 8 goals in the Serie A.
After a successful spell with the Bianconeri, Randal Kolo Muani is ready for a new chapter and with both United and Juventus circling, the next few weeks could define where that chapter begins.
