Next summer, Arsenal could have major changes. Mikel Arteta could part ways with several players who are underperforming this season.

Transfer News Live has already revealed that Arsenal could allow defender Riccardo Calafiori to leave next summer. Also, they have found a replacement for the Italian from the Premier League.

Eberechi Eze is another player who has underperformed since joining the Gunners from Crystal Palace last summer. Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.

And the only highlight of his Arsenal career so far has been that hat-trick he scored against the Spurs in the north London derby at the Emirates.

Apart from that, he is having a tough time adjusting to Mikel Arteta’s team. He has made 33 appearances for the Gunners. But he only managed 6 assists.

Also, he is getting criticised for his performance against Brentford. This has not been the first time this season that Eze has looked out of touch.

Now, Football Insider has revealed Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze exit plan, which Mikel Arteta also approves. According to their report, the Gunners have no plan to sell Eze next summer.

Arteta still sees Eze as a key part of this team’s future. And the Gunners’ boss is not ready to let Eze leave within a year of arrival.

Now, there have been speculations regarding the future of Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian could be on his way out of the team.

So, if those rumours become a reality, Eberechi Eze could be the one to replace him in the squad. He has shown glimpses of his brilliance in an Arsenal shirt.

However, the Gunners want him to be more consistent, and Arteta believes that with time, Eze will be able to give his best for Arsenal.
