Manchester United are already working on big plans for the summer transfer window. After a quiet January window, the Red Devils know they need to use the summer to build a strong squad.

That is why, even without a permanent manager, Jason Wilcox, Christopher Vivell, and Omar Berrada are looking at potential targets for the next summer.

Now, they are looking for an upgrade for Luke Shaw. The former Southampton left-back has completed 11 years at Old Trafford since his move in 2014.

Constant injuries have affected the England left-back’s career at Manchester United. He has missed over 300 games for United in his career so far.

This is over 44% of the total matches he played at the club during his 11-year tenure. But when he is available, he has shown that he could be the best left-back in the world.

However, United are ready to move forward from Luke Shaw. They extended his contract in 2023, and now, his contract will expire in 2027.

So, the Red Devils could entertain offers for the English left-back. Now, they have already identified a perfect replacement for Luke Shaw.

The Red Devils were looking to sign Federico Dimarco from Inter Milan. However, according to L’Interista, Manchester United’s hopes of signing Dimaro have already been crushed.

As per their report, the Italian has no intention of leaving the Serie A giants, and Inter also have now intention of letting Dimarco leave next summer.

His contract with Inter Milan runs until 2027. And he is already in talks with the Serie A clubs for a new deal that could run until 2030.

So, if Manchester United want to replace Luke Shaw, they might have to look for other replacements, as Dimarco might stay at Inter Milan.
