Manchester United have just endured their worst ever Premier League season.

They finished in 15th place, with just 11 wins and 18 league defeats.

A Europa League final gave the club a chance to recover their season.

However, a 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Bilbao final denied United the chance for securing Champions League football for next season.

The club and manager Ruben Amorim have come under fire.

A disastrous post season tour of Malaysia has only added more fuel to the fire.

A busy summer transfer window is once again expected.

Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelöf have all been released upon the ends of their contracts

Matheus Cunha has arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £62.5 million.

The club have also been heavily linked to Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyökeres as they look bolster their attack.

This could see attackers move the other way.

It has been reported that Argentinian forward Alejandro Garnacho will leave the club.

Garnacho did not start the aforementioned Europa League final.

He posted his frustration at the decision on social media.

Garnacho was also caught making a rude gesture to a fan during their post season tour defeat to the ASEAN all-stars.

He was also involved in an altercation with a fan in Kuala Lumpur.

The writing has been on the wall for some time and his departure now seems to be all but certain.

With 11 goals and 10 assists in all competitions last season, he won’t be short of suitors despite his off the field issues.

A wonder goal against Everton two seasons ago will always be remembered in Premier League folklore.

However, his future seems to be away from United.
