Sir Jim Ratcliffe

Manchester United are already preparing for life without Casemiro. Since joining the Red Devils in 2022, the Brazilian has had some brilliant moments with the club.

However, recently he announced that he will leave the club once his contract expires. That is why the Red Devils are scouting the market to find a holding midfielder.

Also, with question marks hovering over the future of Manuel Ugarte, United must sign a holding midfielder next summer.

Now, they have set their eyes on a Chelsea midfielder. According to NTVASCAÍNOS, Manchester United are eyeing a move for Andrey Santos.

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior admires the Brazilian greatly. So, he is unlikely to sanction a sale. However, the Chelsea board have a different idea.

They are prepared to listen to offers for the 21-year-old. This season, he has played 34 times for the Blues in all competitions.

Chelsea signed Santos in 2023, and he made his debut for the Blues in 2025 in the FIFA Club World Cup. His current deal with the Blues is valid until 2030.

So, Chelsea will be looking for an important fee to sell the midfielder, with Manchester United already poised to make an offer.

However, the Red Devils may face competition from Serie A giants Juventus for Andrey Santos’ signature.

Thus, Manchester United will be looking to act fast and make a move early before it gets too late and a transfer battle begins, which could increase the transfer fee.
