Manchester United will be making moves to sign midfielders next summer. And Bruno Guimaraes is one of the top names on their list of midfield targets.
The Brazilian is seen as the perfect replacement for his compatriot Casemiro, who announced early this year that he will leave Old Trafford once his contract expires at the end of the season.
That is why United have stepped up their pursuit of signing at least two midfielders. They were already looking to sign midfielders in January.
However, due to the lack of opportunity, they failed to land the perfect player. Also, the current regime at Old Trafford seems to prioritise permanent deals over short-term loans.
That is why they stayed quiet throughout the January window and will be looking to make big moves next summer. So, Bruno Guimaraes is surely one of the primary targets for United.
Now, Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall has spoken about the Brazilian’s true feelings amid Manchester United interest. Hall said to TNT Sports:
“Bruno is not just an incredible player, but an incredible person as well. I think you can see in his performances and his passion how much he loves this club as well.
“When he signed, the club was in a tricky situation. And now being our captain and a massive player for us is obviously a credit to him. He’s such a magical player.
“He does so many things in the game that a lot of people can’t do. We’re gonna miss him a lot, but hopefully he can recover quickly and be back as soon as possible.”
Bruno Guimaraes signed for Newcastle in 2022, and his current contract is valid until 2028.
