Pressure in football builds quickly.
But at certain clubs, it multiplies.
Expectations do not fade, they build on top of each other.
And when results begin to slip, everything accelerates.
Especially when the table starts to tell a worrying story.
That is where things stand right now, with Tottenham and Igor Tudor.
A season that once carried promise has turned into something far more concerning.
Results have dipped, including a devastating 3-0 loss to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest.
That alone changes everything.
Igor Tudor set to leave Tottenham by mutual consent
According to TEAMtalk, Igor Tudor is now increasingly likely to be sacked, with sources suggesting he may not even remain in charge for Tottenham’s next fixture.
The situation has escalated following a damaging 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, a result that left Spurs just one point above the relegation zone and intensified fears of a collapse.
And the numbers do not help.
Tottenham are still searching for consistency.
In fact, they remain one of the few sides yet to register a league win in 2026, a statistic that underlines just how serious the decline has been.
Internally, there is already movement.
Reports indicate that the club hierarchy had effectively set a breaking point, with defeat in that Forest game potentially triggering a managerial change.
Now, that outcome has arrived, and with it, a decision looms.
There is also a human side to this situation.
Tudor has recently dealt with the loss of his father, adding a layer of complexity to everything unfolding around him.
Which makes the timing even more delicate.
Names are already being discussed.
Potential replacements; even familiar faces have been linked with a return.
The club are preparing, whether publicly or not.
For Tottenham, this is no longer about long-term planning.
It is about survival.
And when survival is on the line, decisions have to come quickly.
