Al-Hilal are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market. The Saudi Pro League side have already strengthened their attack with the signing of Crysencio Summerville.
But they want another high-profile forward before the summer window closes. Mohamed Salah remains their priority target.
However, uncertainty over the former Liverpool star’s future has forced the club to accelerate work on alternative options.
According to TEAMtalk, Iliman Ndiaye has now emerged as one of Al-Hilal’s leading attacking targets.
The report states that the Saudi club have launched a move for the Everton forward after identifying him as a priority addition.
Chelsea winger Pedro Neto is also being monitored as Al-Hilal assess several alternatives. Ndiaye’s situation is also attracting strong interest from the Premier League.
Liverpool continue to monitor the Senegal international as they search for another attacking option if they fail to land Bradley Barcola.
Manchester United are also keeping a close watch on developments. They want a versatile forward capable of playing across the frontline, with Ndiaye remaining under serious consideration.
The report also adds that United admire Ndiaye’s Senegal team-mate Ismaila Sarr. Despite the growing interest, Everton remain in a strong negotiating position.
The 25-year-old still has three years left on his contract at Hill Dickinson Stadium, leaving the club under no pressure to sell.
Instead, Everton are prepared to discuss an improved long-term contract as they look to reward Ndiaye for his importance to David Moyes’ plans.
The Toffees also view him as a key part of their rebuilding project. Al-Hilal’s approach has nevertheless placed the winger firmly back in the spotlight.
With interest arriving from Saudi Arabia and continued attention from Manchester United and Liverpool, Ndiaye’s future will remain one of the transfer window’s biggest talking points.
