Anthony Gordon’s future at Newcastle United has become one of the major talking points ahead of the summer transfer window.
The winger has enjoyed another impressive campaign and his performances have now attracted attention from several top European clubs.
The England international has been one of Newcastle’s most dangerous attacking players this season.
He scored 17 goals in all competitions and consistently delivered strong performances despite the club’s inconsistent form in recent months.
Because of that, several clubs have started monitoring his situation closely. Arsenal are reportedly among the Premier League clubs showing interest in Gordon.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have also continued tracking the winger for some time because of his impressive displays at both club and international level.
However, the Reds are not expected to enter negotiations this summer. Instead, one European giant appears to be pushing harder than everyone else.
According to talkSPORT, Anthony Gordon has already agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich ahead of a potential summer move to Germany.
However, despite the agreement with the player, Bayern still face a major obstacle in negotiations with Newcastle United.
The report claims there remains a significant gap in valuation between the two clubs. Newcastle are reportedly demanding at least £75 million to part ways with the 25-year-old winger.
Meanwhile, Anthony Gordon’s value could rise even further if he performs strongly at the upcoming World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Bayern Munich have now prioritised signing the England international after already securing the Bundesliga title this season.
Gordon also remains tied to Newcastle for the long term after signing a new contract two years ago, which runs until 2030. Newcastle signed Gordon from Everton in January 2023 for £40 million.
