Arsenal learn Kenan Yildiz transfer stance from Juventus

Juventus have made their stance very clear.

Arsenal continue to search for another elite attacker as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his title-winning squad.

The Gunners have already added Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for £34 million. However, they still want another high-level option for the left side of attack.

Their pursuit of Vinicius Junior ended after the Brazilian signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid. Arsenal have since explored several alternatives before the transfer deadline.

One of those targets is Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, who can operate from the left wing or as a No 10.

According to Tutto Juve, Arsenal have revived their interest in Yildiz, having already made an enquiry for him earlier this summer.

However, Juventus have made their stance very clear. The Serie A giants consider the 21-year-old untouchable and do not want to sell him.

Juventus see Yildiz as a central figure in their long-term project. They want to build their future around the Turkey international as they target a return to the top.

That position creates a major obstacle for Arsenal. Reports had suggested Juventus could demand more than €100 million (£86 million) for their attacker.

However, their latest stance suggests even an offer around that figure may not convince them to negotiate.

Juventus also strengthened their position earlier this year by securing Yildiz on a new four-year contract.

Arsenal must now decide whether to test their resolve with a huge proposal or focus on other attacking targets.

The Gunners have also shown interest in Bradley Barcola, Nico Williams and Iliman Ndiaye.

Barcola has become another major option after Arsenal made contact with his camp. Meanwhile, Arteta has already received significant backing this summer.

Arsenal signed Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75 million and completed permanent deals for Piero Hincapie and Tzolis.

Arsenal will now continue preparing for their Community Shield clash against Manchester City while Andrea Berta works on further attacking reinforcements.
