Arsenal are once again being linked with another promising talent from the Bundesliga.
The club are reportedly keeping tabs on a left-sided defender who has quickly become one of Germany’s most exciting young prospects.
Mikel Arteta wants to improve his squad depth. That is why he is demanding that the Gunners do some business in January.
In the last three consecutive seasons, Arsenal finished second in the Premier League table.
For many weeks, the Gunners were in the lead, and many thought they could end their Premier League drought.
However, the squad depth has cost Mikel Arteta the Premier League title more than once.
That is why, even after doing fantastic business in the summer, Arteta wants Andrea Berta to add more depth to his defence.
The Gunners appear keen on exploring the possibility of signing the 22-year-old.
According to reports, Manchester City are also showing strong interest. This could set up what could become a fierce transfer battle next year.
As per journalist Florian Plettenberg, Frankfurt are expecting major offers for Nathaniel Brown in 2026.
The German club will demand around €60 million for any potential deal. Brown joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Nuremberg in January 2024 for just £2.6 million.
His contract runs until 2030. Also, Brown’s contract does not have a release clause. This leaves Frankfurt in full control of negotiations.
For now, both Premier League giants might need to think carefully before testing Frankfurt’s resolve for Nathaniel Brown.
