Arsenal have shown interest in signing Endrick next summer. The Gunners did sign Viktor Gyokeres last summer with the hope of getting their own version of Erling Haaland.
However, the Swede has struggled at the Emirates at times. That is why Arsenal are now focusing on signing another striker next summer.
They already have Julian Alvarez on their list of targets. However, Mikel Arteta admires Endrick a lot. Now, Arsenal are not the only club who are impressed with the Brazilian.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring his situation. He is currently on loan to Lyon. The 19-year-old had endured a stop-start spell in Spain.
Due to limited game time, Endrick decided to leave Real Madrid on loan. Since joining the French club, his numbers exploded.
The teenager has scored five goals and provided one assist in just six appearances for the French side. Notably, he even registered a hat-trick against Metz.
Those numbers will surely draw eyeballs from the rest of Europe, including the Premier League giants. And, the Gunners were quick to make an enquiry about the striker.
However, according to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid have issued a clear instruction to Endrick’s camp. The striker will return to the Estadio Bernabeu this summer.
Under Carlo Ancelotti in the previous campaign, Endrick scored seven goals and provided one assist across 37 appearances.
Previously, West Ham United pushed hardest to sign Endrick. They made several enquiries over the past year. Each time, they received the same negative answer.
Earlier this week, his agent reinforced Madrid’s stance. He dismissed suggestions that the forward lacks what it takes to succeed in the Spanish capital.
Moreover, he confirmed that a return to Madrid is the next step. For Arsenal, Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta will now have to look for other targets.
