Arsenal could reshape their attack this summer despite winning the Premier League title under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have already begun planning for the future as uncertainty continues to surround the long-term futures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Trossard has entered the final 12 months of his contract and has emerged as a target for Besiktas, who want to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
The Belgian turns 32 later this year, while Arsenal could also sign another left-sided attacker, which could further reduce his playing time.
Martinelli’s future also remains unresolved. The Brazilian has one year left on his current deal, although Arsenal hold the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Both players are still competing at the FIFA World Cup. So, it means any decisions over their futures are expected after the tournament.
According to The Sun, Arsenal have identified Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola as their preferred replacements if Martinelli and Trossard leave this summer.
Arteta remains a strong admirer of Rogers, although Aston Villa could make any deal difficult.
The Premier League champions admire Paris Saint-Germain winger Barcola a lot. Both players have enhanced their reputations during the World Cup.
Rogers has featured in England’s unbeaten campaign under Thomas Tuchel. He made appearances against Croatia, Ghana and Panama as the Three Lions reached the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Barcola has continued his outstanding form for France. He scored twice and provided an assist during the tournament. This includes a goal in the Round of 32 victory over Sweden.
Arsenal are will also complete the signing of 16-year-old Jeremy Monga from Leicester City.
While Arsenal continue exploring attacking additions, the futures of Martinelli and Trossard remain unresolved.
Their situations are likely to become clearer once their respective World Cup campaigns come to an end.
