Arsenal enter the new Premier League season as defending champions after ending their 22-year wait for the title.
The Gunners have continued strengthening their squad this summer, with Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis among their major additions.
Arsenal have also agreed a £51 million deal for Ezri Konsa as Arteta addresses concerns within his defensive options.
Attention has now switched towards the attack, particularly finding another player capable of operating from the left wing.
Arsenal previously considered Morgan Rogers before his £117 million move to Chelsea ended their hopes of signing him.
Vinicius Junior was another target, but the Brazilian instead decided to extend his contract with Real Madrid.
According to The Independent, Arsenal are now targeting Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, with Arteta particularly interested in the 21-year-old.
Juventus value the Turkey international at more than £60 million following his most productive campaign for the Italian club.
Yildiz scored 11 goals and registered nine assists across 47 appearances last season despite Juventus finishing sixth in Serie A.
However, another significant transfer would push Arsenal’s net summer spending towards £200 million after their recent business.
That financial situation has prompted discussions over an alternative structure that could help Arsenal secure their latest attacking target.
Gabriel Martinelli could potentially move to Juventus as part of a swap arrangement designed to reduce the required cash payment.
The 25-year-old’s Arsenal future has become uncertain after Arteta left him out of the squad for the Community Shield.
Arsenal also retain interest in Julian Alvarez, while Junior Kroupi could become another option during a future transfer window.
However, Yildiz currently represents another potential solution as Arsenal search for additional quality on the left side of their attack.
Any swap would still require negotiations, but including Martinelli could provide Arsenal with a route towards completing another major summer deal.
