According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal are preparing to make a formal offer. They are ready to bid €80 million to try and bring Rodrygo to the Emirates.
It is still below Madrid’s asking price of €100 million, but Arsenal are confident they can negotiate.
Rodrygo is likely to play on the left wing if the deal goes through. That would mean fresh competition for Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern Munich are also in the mix. But Arsenal want to move quickly and secure his signature before the window closes.
This could be their biggest signing of the summer if they can pull it off.
