Arsenal enter the new season looking to build on a remarkable campaign that delivered their first Premier League title in 22 years.
Mikel Arteta’s side have already strengthened the squad with the arrivals of Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier this summer.
At the same time, many players could leave as Arsenal continue reshaping the squad ahead of their title defence.
Leandro Trossard is close to completing a move to Besiktas, while the club remain active in the market for further additions.
The pursuit of Julian Alvarez continues, while Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis and Morgan Rogers also remain on Arsenal’s radar.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are preparing for a new era under Pierre Sage after a difficult second half of last season ended with a 12th-place finish.
However, former manager Oliver Glasner did deliver European glory by winning the Conference League title. Now, Palace are also looking to strengthen the squad further.
According to Ekstra Bladet (via Sport Witness), Crystal Palace are among the clubs interested in signing Christian Norgaard if he leaves Arsenal this summer.
The Denmark international arrived from Brentford last year but struggled for opportunities in North London.
He managed only limited Premier League minutes during the title-winning campaign. Also, Norgaard found himself behind several midfield options in Arteta’s plans.
The Danish newspaper states an immediate return to Brondby may not happen this summer despite previous comments from the player. Instead, a move elsewhere in England remains a possibility.
Arsenal are willing to listen to offers and are open to allowing him to leave the Emirates during this window.
A move to Selhurst Park could appeal because it would allow him to remain in London. For now, though, the midfielder is yet to make a final decision on his future.
