Arsenal are planning to strengthen the attack this summer. The Gunners have started creating uncertainty around several players inside Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The North London club continue searching for another top-quality left-sided attacker ahead of next season.
Arsenal have already assessed multiple elite names as they prepare for another major push in both the Premier League and Champions League.
Morgan Rogers, Nico Williams, Rafael Leao, and Bradley Barcola all remain under consideration. That situation has now attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
One Arsenal attacker, in particular, has started generating strong interest after questions emerged regarding his long-term role at the Emirates Stadium.
According to TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have both made enquiries about Gabriel Martinelli’s availability this summer.
The winger started on the bench during Arsenal’s Champions League final defeat on Saturday night, with Arteta instead selecting Leandro Trossard in the starting lineup.
The report states that Bayern Munich recently checked on the Brazilian international’s situation. The Bundesliga champions continue assessing attacking options for Vincent Kompany’s squad.
Bayern reportedly want more competition and support around Luis Diaz after the Colombian established himself as an important player under Kompany.
Meanwhile, PSG have also asked questions regarding the Arsenal winger. The French club continue monitoring the winger market closely.
It is because Bradley Barcola could still leave the Parc des Princes before the end of the transfer window.
Atletico Madrid also remain admirers of the Brazilian despite Arsenal’s hopes of using Martinelli in a possible deal involving Julian Alvarez suffering a setback.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli is also entering the final stages of his Arsenal contract. The Brazilian currently has just over 12 months remaining on his contract.
However, Arsenal still hold an option to extend the deal by another year. For now, Arsenal have reportedly not made a final decision regarding Gabriel Martinelli’s long-term future at the club.
