When Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr, many thought they would dominate the Saudi Pro League.
However, since joining Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has done what he does best, and that is score goals.
So far, the Portuguese legend has played 105 times for Al-Nassr. And, he netted 93 goals.
But, in terms of trophies for the club, he only bagged the Arab Club Champions Cup.
The Portuguese international knows that it is not enough. He wants to build a squad around him that can dominate the Saudi league.
That is why Al-Nassr have already signed Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich to play around him.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo wants another forward who can take on defenders and help him score more goals. He wants to bring in a proven winner who can help Al-Nassr win major trophies.
After a lacklustre season, Al-Nassr will not be competing in the AFC Champions League.
That is why Ronaldo is demanding a player who has a proven track record of winning trophies.
According to Fichajes, Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding that Al-Nassr sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
The Colombian has expressed his desire to try a different challenge. Many European clubs are lining up for the winger.
The 28-year-old has reportedly accepted personal terms with Bayern Munich.
However, he is also dreaming of wearing the Blaugrana and representing Barcelona.
Given the financial condition of the Spanish champions and the price Liverpool want for the player, it will be hard for Barcelona to get this deal over the line.
Also, Bayern have tried to sign the player by submitting two bids, and both were rejected by the Premier League winners.
However, Saudi clubs have a tendency to throw crazy money at star players who can draw eyeballs for their football league.
That is why if Ronaldo demands the signing of Luis Diaz, it will not be surprising if Al-Nassr table an offer that Liverpool struggle to reject.
But will Luis Diaz accept the Saudi league as his next adventure? Only time will tell.
