Fabrizio Romano has given a shocking Antoine Semenyo transfer update recently.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in the Ghana international.
This summer, Bournemouth have parted ways with the likes of Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi, and Milos Kerkez.
In January, the Cherries are now bracing themselves for multiple offers for their star forward, Antoine Semenyo.
Now, it seems that this Semenyo transfer battle could be over in no time as his release clause has already been revealed.
A club has to pay £65 million to activate his release clause. And most Premier League giants, who are showing interest in Semenyo, can trigger that release clause.
However, they have to do so by January 10. Semenyo signed a new five-year deal this July, which will keep him at Bournemouth till 2030.
After Mohamed Salah’s fallout with Liverpool and Arne Slot, it seemed the Reds would trigger that release clause. They even made contact early on.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds are yet to follow up on the interest they showed in November.
The Italian journalist explained that the two clubs that are showing the most interest now are Manchester United and Manchester City.
There was interest from Tottenham as well. But the Spurs are not advancing with their move for Semenyo.
If Liverpool do not step up, it looks like Semenyo’s next destination will be Manchester. Now, whether he will wear red or blue, only time will tell.
🚨 Antoine Semenyo to decide his future soon. Manchester United and Manchester City are pushing.
Liverpool called in November, no follow up so far; but #LFC can be active this window.
Spurs not advancing for Semenyo. £65m clause expires January 10.
