Arsenal are looking to build a squad this summer that can not only win the Premier League but help the Gunners in their quest of lifting the Champions League for the first time in their history.
They have already sealed moves for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard.
A powerful new striker is also on the way, with Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres expected to be announced soon.
Add to that Noni Madueke, who has just completed his medical after a switch from Chelsea, and you can see how Mikel Arteta is reshaping his squad.
Zubimendi and Norgaard bring fresh legs and control to midfield. Kepa offers experienced cover in goal.
Madueke will battle for a place on the wing, giving Bukayo Saka some much-needed backup.
And Gyokeres? He is coming in to lead the line, just what Arsenal lacked last season.
But even with all that done, the Gunners are not slowing down.
In fact, they are now turning to another part of the pitch that could use a little more depth.
A new name has entered the Emirates. He is young, composed, and already attracting serious attention across Europe.
This player had made it very clear to his current club that his mind was set. He only wanted Arsenal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners agreed a deal to sign Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia.
Personal terms are already agreed, and discussions between the clubs are on the verge of being completed.
The Gunners will pay a €15m fee plus add-ons and the total package will be under €20m.
Mosquera is seen as a key part of the long-term plan at the Emirates. He will bring height, strength, and confidence to the back line.
With Gyokeres and Madueke almost done, Cristhian Mosquera is the next exciting addition.
Arsenal are not just building a team for now, they are building one for years to come.
