In recent years, many players have shone after leaving Manchester United. The Red Devils have been on a horrible run since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.
Moreover, the continuous change of managers has not helped the cause at Old Trafford. However, under Ruben Amorim, United are giving hope to their fans.
Also, many ex-Manchester United players left the club in a sour mood. Cristiano Ronaldo was a prime example of that.
When the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner re-joined his old club, it was like a dream for many United fans. However, after falling out of favour under Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo left the club.
Since joining Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has shown why he is one of the greatest players to have ever played this beautiful game.
But some players left the club with mutual respect. And they also shone after leaving Old Trafford. The prime example of that is Scott McTominay.
After leaving Manchester United, McTominay joined Napoli. And his first season in Italy was nothing short of a dream.
The Scottish international won the Serie A’s Most Valuable Player award and helped Napoli win the Scudetto under Antonio Conte.
Scott McTominay was having a horrible time at United. He got bullied by not only the media but also by the fans.
However, since he left United and joined Napoli, his career has taken a 180-degree turn. McTominay is now a superstar in Napoli.
And that is where the problem is emerging for the former Manchester United star. According to The Sun, Scott McTominay is looking to make a sensational return to the Premier League.
The Scottish international enjoyed the first season in the limelight at Naples. However, this season, he is struggling to cope with the attention he is getting.
If McTominay decides to return to the Premier League, he will have multiple clubs eyeing a move for the 28-year-old.
