Hull City lining up surprise move for Manchester United goalkeeper

United would consider a permanent sale if the right proposal arrives.

Manchester United have approached the summer transfer window with renewed confidence after securing Champions League qualification under Michael Carrick.

The club has already strengthened key areas of the squad, while several senior departures have created room for further changes before the new campaign begins.

Although much of the attention has centred on incoming signings, United must also make important decisions regarding several young players.

Goalkeeping has become one of the biggest talking points at Old Trafford this summer.

The club continues searching for an experienced deputy to support first-choice Senne Lammens. Furthermore, there is uncertainty around the futures of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.

At the same time, another goalkeeper has attracted growing interest after an impressive campaign away from Manchester.

According to the Daily Mail, Hull City are among the clubs pursuing Radek Vitek after his successful loan spell with Bristol City last season.

Coventry City and Ipswich Town have also joined the race for the Manchester United goalkeeper.

Vitek impressed throughout the Championship campaign, keeping 12 clean sheets in 41 appearances.

However, the 22-year-old has only two years remaining on his current contract and wants regular first-team football.

United would consider a permanent sale if the right proposal arrives. Alternatively, Vitek could leave on another loan if he signs a new contract before departing.

With interest continuing to grow, United must now decide whether Vitek forms part of Carrick’s long-term plans or whether this summer offers the right opportunity to resolve his future.
