Ruben Amorim wants change. After Manchester United’s worst Premier League finish in decades, the Portuguese coach has already made his first major move.

Matheus Cunha from Wolves became the new face at Old Trafford earlier this month, and the transfer window is just getting started.

Without Champions League football, United’s transfer pull is weaker. But the urgency is greater. They have little time to wait. If they do, other clubs could swoop in.

From the start of June, one attacker in England has been in their sights.

Strong, fast, and able to play across the front three, he impressed last season with his goal contributions and work rate.

Amorim made it clear that he wants more firepower. This forward fit the bill.

The player has also been eager for the move. For weeks, he made Manchester United his top priority.

Still, the club’s opening offer did not get them far. Brentford rejected the first bid quickly.

United returned with an improved offer, closer to £60 million, and that changed everything.

According to CentreDevils, Brentford have now accepted a proposal worth around £62.5 million, including add-ons.

The deal is nearly done. If all goes to plan, United will soon welcome Bryan Mbeumo as their second signing of the summer window.

The Cameroon star lit up the Premier League last season with 20 goals and 9 assists in 42 appearances.

Now, he is set to bring pace, goals, and versatility to Amorim’s new project. This move could trigger more sales at Old Trafford.

United are expected to listen to offers for Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Antony, and even Alejandro Garnacho.

But for now, the focus is on arrivals and Bryan Mbeumo is the next step in Manchester United’s summer rebuild.
