Manchester United have endured a tough start to the season. However, the Red Devils remain active in the transfer market.
They sit 14th in the Premier League table after six matches. Also, they have collected only seven points so far.
In the summer, the club added Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. But questions still surround their attack.
Therefore, the Old Trafford board are already considering more signings. Reports suggest they want another forward who can improve the squad.
According to Fichajes, United are studying a move for a versatile option from Serie A. The 20-year-old forward has caught the attention of several clubs.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also in the mix. But United appear to be moving ahead of their rivals.
So far, Chelsea have only made informal contacts. They have not yet taken a definitive step.
That leaves the door open for Manchester United. They are willing to make the first formal move to secure the signature of Kenan Yildiz.
The Juventus star can operate as a secondary striker or on the wings. Massimiliano Allegri has used him often in rotation. Also, Juventus see him as a key part of their future.
Therefore, any deal will be expensive. Juventus will only consider selling if they receive more than £80m. Losing him would be a major setback for the Turin giants.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford’s future could shape United’s plans. He is currently on loan at Barcelona and has started well in Spain.
Barcelona have an option to buy him for £27m. However, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a £40m bid to hijack the deal.
If Rashford joins PSG, United could redirect funds towards Yildiz. But the transfer will not be straightforward, as competition is fierce and Juventus remain reluctant.
