Manchester United eye move for next Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United are looking to sign a striker. The situation with Joshua Zirkzee is prompting United to make a move for a striker in January.

The Dutch international wants to leave in January because he wants more game time. The 24-year-old wants to be in contention for the Netherlands world cup squad.

However, with Ruben Amorim preferring Benjamin Sesko to lead the attacking line, it is unlikely Zirkzee will get more chances at Old Trafford.

That is why it is important for United to sign a replacement for Zirkzee in January. Now, Ruben Amorim wants to sign an experienced striker.

So, the Portuguese boss was pushing United to go for Robert Lewandowski. However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not going to approve that move.

Thus, Amorim has turned his focus on signing a young striker who can become the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic in world football.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United are now looking to sign Kevin Filling from AIK. The Swedish teenager has caught the eyes of European heavyweights with his performances.

In 7 games this season, Filling has scored 2 goals for AIK in the Swedish league. However, the most impressive thing is that he was on the pitch for just 203 minutes in those 7 games.

So, it shows that the player has an eye for the goal. That is why he is already drawing comparisons to the likes of Alexander Isak and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, United are not the only team eyeing Filling. The Red Devils might have competition from Bundesliga clubs as well.

There is no doubt Kevin Filling wants to leave in January, and Manchester United could be his next destination if Ruben Amorim can convince the Red Devils to make a move.
