Manchester United join Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in race to sign €60M Brazilian striker

United could consider adding further competition to their attacking options despite already having Cunha and Mbeumo in Carrick’s squad.

Manchester United have joined Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in monitoring another attacking option ahead of future transfer windows.

United strengthened several areas during the summer under Michael Carrick. Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba arrived as part of their midfield rebuild.

Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo also provided attacking reinforcements, while Karl Darlow strengthened United’s goalkeeping options.

Chelsea were also active, with Morgan Rogers among their major additions. Tottenham invested heavily as well, adding Sandro Tonali, Savio and Omar Marmoush.

Despite that summer business, all three Premier League clubs are now tracking another forward who could become available for a significant fee.

According to Sportowy, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are closely monitoring Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque.

The three clubs are currently gathering information about the 21-year-old. However, there is no indication that any of them have submitted an offer.

Roque returned to Brazil after previously playing in Europe and remains under contract with Palmeiras until the end of 2029.

That contract leaves the Brazilian club in a strong negotiating position should their striker attract formal approaches in the coming months.

Palmeiras reportedly value Roque at €60 million, meaning any interested club would need to make a substantial investment to secure his services.

United could consider adding further competition to their attacking options despite already having Cunha and Mbeumo in Carrick’s squad.

Chelsea have Joao Pedro among their current attacking choices, while Tottenham strengthened their forward line by signing Marmoush.

However, the report does not state that any of the three clubs have decided to meet Palmeiras’ €60m valuation. Their interest currently remains at the monitoring and information-gathering stage.

Roque therefore has several Premier League admirers, but his long-term Palmeiras contract means the Brazilian club face no immediate pressure over his future.
