Manchester United are looking at attacking reinforcements ahead of the next summer transfer window. Also, they will be looking to add midfielders.
Yes, there is no doubt that signing a midfielder will be the priority for the Red Devils. And, they have quite a few names on their list of probable targets.
They already have the likes of Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Alex Scott, and Adam Wharton on their list of midfield targets. United are looking to sign players with Premier League experience.
The situation is the same when it comes to forwards. They have seen how quickly Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo settled at Old Trafford.
However, Benjamin Sesko is yet to prove his worth as a Manchester United player. That is why they will also prefer forwards with Premier League experience in the summer.
It was also the reason why they were looking to make a move for Antoine Semenyo before the Ghana international decided to join Manchester City.
Now, a new Premier League forward’s name has emerged on their radar. According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are considering a move for Iliman Ndiaye of Everton.
However, this will not be an easy deal. The report states that United would have to pay a huge fee, potentially as high as £75million, to convince Everton to sell the 25-year-old attacker.
Ndiaye has been a key figure for Everton this season. He has scored four goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances so far.
He also played a major role in Senegal’s recent Africa Cup of Nations triumph. His influence has grown steadily since arriving at Goodison Park from Marseille in 2024.
Now, Everton are in a strong position. Ndiaye is under contract until June 2029, and the club have already shown they are unwilling to sell cheaply.
So, if Manchester United decide Ndiaye is the right fit, it would be one of their biggest investments of the summer.
