Manchester United prepare bid for Swedish left-back

Manchester United will have a busy transfer window in the summer. The Red Devils need to sign midfielders, something they failed to do last summer.

They made a move for Carlos Baleba of Brighton & Hove Albion. But the Seagulls shut the door in front of their face immediately.

Even in January, they wanted to sign a midfielder. However, they choose to wait until the summer to make signings.

Now, as the summer transfer window approaches, it is clear that they have to go for at least two midfielders.

As Casemiro already announced that he will leave once his contract expires with United at the end of the season, they must sign a top midfielder to replace the Brazilian.

Also, they must sign a left-back. The Red Devils have realised that they cannot rely on Luke Shaw solely. Also, with Patrick Dorgu injured, they lack depth in that position.

That is why next summer, just like signing a midfielder, signing a left-back will also be important for Manchester United. So, they are identifying potential targets already.

According to RECORD, Manchester United are now preparing a bid for Samuel Dahl. The Red Devils are impressed with the performances of the Swedish left-back.

The Benfica star has already made 50 appearances for the Portuguese club this season. Dahl moved to Benfica from AS Roma last summer.

The 23-year-old was not getting enough game time in Italy. That is why he decided to make the switch, and since then, he has revived his career.

Currently, Manchester United are closely monitoring his situation, and they will be ready to make a move if they can find an opportunity.

However, if he arrives at Old Trafford, it is unlikely that he will be an outright starter, as Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu will be in front of him.
