Manchester United receive Aurelien Tchouameni transfer boost after Real Madrid decision

The 26-year-old remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2028.

Manchester United continue to search for midfield reinforcements as Michael Carrick prepares for the club’s return to the Champions League.

The Red Devils have already moved for Ederson and remain active in the market despite facing difficulties in several pursuits. A move for Mateus Fernandes has become increasingly complicated.

West Ham United’s £85 million valuation and Tottenham Hotspur’s growing confidence in the race have forced United to consider alternative options.

The club had also admired Elliot Anderson, but Nottingham Forest’s demands pushed that deal beyond their comfort zone. So, attention has shifted towards a player long admired at Old Trafford.

According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, Real Madrid are now prepared to consider offers for Aurelien Tchouameni as Jose Mourinho continues his squad rebuild at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid believe a departure in midfield will be necessary before they can sign new players.

Eduardo Camavinga was initially viewed as a possible departure candidate. However, people close to the player reportedly believe it would be impossible for him to leave the club.

That situation has led Real Madrid to become more open to discussing Tchouameni’s future. The France international has previously been a “dream target” for Manchester United.

Tchouameni would fit a clear need in Carrick’s squad. Casemiro’s departure has left a significant gap in midfield.

That is why United remain keen to add a powerful presence capable of controlling games at both domestic and European level.

The 26-year-old remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2028 and has established himself as a regular for both club and country.
